Multiscale and Multiphysics Approaches in Electrochemical Processes

Recently, electrochemical processes have been highlighted in nano- and micro-particles related applications, such as secondary battery, nanomedicine, wearable device, and etc. Most electrochemical processes have critical issues in predicting engineering performance from material preparation to system optimization. Unfortunately, computational methods in electrochemical processes are not good enough to satisfying the needs of real engineering fields due to the multiscale and multiphysics nature. This Minisymposium will focus on the electrochemical processes, related with multiscale and multiphysics problems. Specifically, various applications of computational methods in electrochemical engineering will be demonstrated and fully discussed.
